NFComicCon (NFCC) like most great things, began with a question. “Why not us? Why not Niagara Falls? Why can’t Niagara Falls host a Comic Con?”

Niagara Falls is a first class city with world wide popularity, natural wonders, family friendly entertainment, hotels, casinos, festivals… it has it all.  NFCC organizers Paul Tappay and Chris Dabrowski knew the demand for a Comic Con in Niagara was big and on July 9th 2011, the inaugural Niagara Falls Comic Con was launched. With a small selection of local toy and comic book vendors, artists and celebrity special guests, it was a huge success which drew over 1,000 happy comic book fans. The event was hosted by the fine folks of Dave & Busters on Clifton Hill.

With the completed construction of the Scotiabank Convention Centre in 2011, the last piece of the puzzle was in place to put on an even bigger event for 2012.

NFCC 2012 in it’s new home at the Scotiabank Convention Centre will have 27,000 square feet of comic book vendors, artists, celebrities and more, to feed your need for all things comic and pop culture related. With plenty of parking, and all the fun attractions the City of Niagara Falls has to offer, the NFCC 2012 is going to be a great weekend for comic book fans and families.
